Always waiting, always being on the go…" - "waking up in bad housing conditions which saps the will to do anything" - "being old and living alone. I am sick. I am afraid of loneliness … I cry a lot but try to look calm and collected when I go out." - "working full-time, but … not earning enough to make a decent living" - "every agency wanting the same papers. And more photocopies every time" - "days without bread are the longest days" - "being paid regularly, but my debts still mounting up anyway" - "hard to talk about, but when I did start to talk to others I felt no different from them and I wasn’t embarrassed" - "constant pressure. It wears you down. Nobody prepared me for living in such harsh conditions"

COUNTRY focus

2010: ONE WEEK FOR EACH COUNTRY!

Throughout 2010, each EU country (including Norway and Iceland) had its own national focus week during which the spotlight was on one Member State.

NGOs created a symbolic transfer between National Focus Weeks by a person/s relaying the NGO messages for the year from one focus week to the next.


2010: UNE SEMAINE PAR PAYS !

Pendant toute l’année 2010, chaque pays de l’Union (plus la Norvège et l’Islande) a eu sa semaine nationale , durant laquelle les projecteurs se sont tournés vers lui.

Les ONG ont créé un transfert symbolique entre les semaines nationales: une personne reliant les messages communs des ONG sociales pour  l’année 2010, d’une semaine nationale à l’autre.
